Streams Tech is seeking an experienced and skilled Python/Django developer who is an extremely knowledgeable and driven individual to assist our organization in designing and programming web applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using the Django framework. He/she will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet our client’s needs. Job Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining Python-based applications using the Django framework.
- Identify and debug new applications and updates
- Design and implement database models using Django Object Rational Mapper (ORM)
- Designing and implementing API to be consumed by frontend developers
- Django version upgradation
- Ensure application-level security and technical documentation
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Need to deploy applications and provide support after deployment, if necessary
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshooting technical issues
- Object-oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
Educational Requirements
BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed university
Experience Requirements
The applicants should have at least 3-5 years of professional experience as a Python/Django developer
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of proven working experience in Python, Django, and Django REST framework
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and Angular
- Experience in mapping applications like Google Maps API, OpenLayers, LeafletJs, ArcGIS, and Geoserver will be a plus
- Experience in Flask framework, and SQLAlchemy will be a plus
- Knowledge of database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Familiar with Linux and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of web security best practices
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality code
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality work
