As an ideal candidate should be familiar with a wide range of technological tools, including Git, and Docker. You must be a good communicator if you want to succeed as a Junior DevOps engineer.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the deployment and configuration of technologies and tools used in software development, including build servers, version control systems, and automated deployment frameworks.
• Assist in managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services, as those provided by Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Work together with the development team to resolve problems with infrastructure and software deployments.
• Create and maintain scripts and automation tools to simplify infrastructure administration and software deployment.
• Help with access control and vulnerability management, as well as monitoring and maintaining system security.
• Identify and fix bugs which appear within DevOps-related code.
• Deliver high-quality code and features in a timely fashion, reflecting the fast-moving nature of the business.
• Assisting in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Automate tasks to streamline the development and deployment process, including build, test, and deployment.

Educational Requirements

BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed university

Experience Requirements

The applicants should have 1-2 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.

Job Requirements

As a Junior DevOps Engineer, the ideal candidate will carry the following skills and qualifications:

• An understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and services, such as Amazon Web Service, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.
• Working knowledge of docker & docker compose is a must.
• Git or another version control system experience.
• Experience in Linux/Unix Operating systems.
• Understanding of software development processes and tools, such as continuous integration and delivery.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python and Bash. Proficiency in SQL is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, and Gcloud will be a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Stay Up-to-date with current industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our DevOps processes.
